- Ellen Elizabeth, b. Hartford (1869); m. Buckden 19.9.1894 Stanley (b. Codicote, Herts., 1868), son of Henry Blundell, draper, (wit. Elizabeth Ann Holmes, Mary Askam Holmes, Alfred Blundell). Blundells were a well known firm of furnishers in Luton and elsewhere (1985).
- William Henry, b. Hilton 1871; bapt. King’s Ripton 7.4.1871.
- Mary Askam, b. 22.8.1873; bapt. 18.9.73.
Mrs Elizabeth Holmes, farmer of Buckden (300 acres 1881,1890) was living at 43 Church Street in 1881 with Ellen, William, Mary, a governess (Mary Bingham of Spalding), and a servant (Emma Martin of Buckden). She d. Luton 1921 and was bur. Buckden 26.11.21; the last interment in the churchyard.
